Tour Itinerary
Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short orientation drive in Ethiopia’s bustling capital, the political hub of Africa and home to the African Union headquarters.
Overnight in Addis Ababa.
Early morning flight to Jinka, the gateway to the Omo Valley.
Drive through Mago National Park to visit the famous Mursi tribe, known for their distinctive lip plates worn by women and their preserved traditional lifestyle. This is one of the most iconic cultural experiences in Ethiopia.
Continue your scenic drive to Turmi, home of the Hamer tribe. If lucky, you may witness traditional ceremonies such as the bull-jumping ritual (depending on local schedules).
Overnight in Turmi.
After breakfast, drive to visit the Karo tribe along the Omo River. The Karo are renowned for their elaborate body painting and decorative scarification practices.
Later, continue north to Konso, a UNESCO-recognized cultural landscape famous for its terraced agriculture, stone-walled villages, and unique wooden totems (Waka statues).

Morning visit to Konso village to explore its traditional social structure and cultural heritage.
Drive to the Dorze village in the Guge Mountains. The Dorze people are known for their tall bamboo houses shaped like elephant heads and their traditional weaving skills.

Upon arrival, obtain visa, transfer to hotel. Lunch and relaxation.

Drive north to Samburu, a rugged and less-visited reserve known for rare species including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk. Afternoon game drive. You may see Elephants, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings.
