Cancellation & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Amplitude Tour & Travel Ethiopia. We are committed to providing exceptional travel experiences throughout Ethiopia. To ensure transparency and fairness for both our clients and our company, please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before confirming your booking. 

1. Booking Confirmation 

A tour reservation is confirmed only after receiving the required deposit or full payment, as specified in your booking agreement. By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Cancellation & Refund Policy. 

2. Cancellation by the Client 

If you need to cancel your tour, please notify us in writing by email or WhatsApp. Cancellation charges will apply as follows: 

• More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund will be made, minus any non-refundable bank transfer or payment processing fees as well as flight ticket cancellation fees. 

• 15–30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the first down payment price. 

• 7–14 days before arrival: 25% refund of the down payment deposits. 

• Less than 7 days before arrival or No-Show: This is Non Refundable condition. 

3. Cancellation by Amplitude Tour & Travel Ethiopia 

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, government restrictions, security concerns, or other force majeure events, we will offer one of the following options: 

• Reschedule your tour for a future date. 

• Refund the recoverable portion of your payment after deducting any non-refundable costs already paid to suppliers, such as flight cancellation fees, High season hotel booking cancellation penalty. 

4. Changes to Bookings 

If you wish to change your travel dates or itinerary, we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Any additional costs resulting from flight changes, hotel amendments, transportation, or permits will be the responsibility of the client. 

5. Refund Processing 

Approved refunds will be processed within 14–30 business days using the original payment method whenever possible. Bank charges, payment gateway fees, exchange rate differences, and other transaction costs are non-refundable. 

6. Unused Services 

Refund will be provided for unused accommodation, meals, transportation, sightseeing activities, park entrance fees, or any other services included in the itinerary if the client chooses not to use them. 

7. Force Majeure 

Amplitude Tour & Travel Ethiopia shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, itinerary changes, or additional expenses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: 

• Natural disasters 

• Severe weather conditions 

• Government regulations or travel restrictions 

• Political instability or civil unrest 

• Airline cancellations or delays 

• Health emergencies or pandemics 

• Strikes or transportation disruptions 

We will make every reasonable effort to minimize disruptions and assist clients in finding suitable alternatives. 

8. Travel Insurance 

We recommend that all travelers purchase  travel insurance covering, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, personal belongings, flight delay.
